Cornerstone
Cornerstone meets at 9:30 AM during Sunday School. Kindergarten - 5th Grade start in a large group format for a worship & lesson experience followed by specific breakout groups tailored for each age group.
Pre-K
For children in Pre-K, the main teaching time is during Sunday School at 9:30. This class is led by various FC3 Kids volunteers. During each service at 8:15 and 10:45, there is an additional Pre-K experience.
Nursery
A staffed nursery is available during both Sunday services and Sunday School times. A nursing mother's room is also available during these same times.
A NOTE ABOUT OUR WORSHIP SERVICES
You may notice that FC3 Kids programming doesn't coincide with church service times. Here at First Christian, we believe worship is more caught than taught and that it is valuable for families to worship together. Children and students who are in Kindergarten and older will attend worship with their family. Nursery and Pre-K are available during both Sunday Services and Sunday School. The goal is not for children to learn how to behave in church. The goal is for children to worship God by observation and participation, even if children fidget and squirm and lay down on the floor! We love having children in the worship service. We believe that children being present in our services will foster more effective discipleship starting with the family. Resources will be made available for children during worship services, and can be found at the back table near the FC3 Kids banner.
